Its sad to see what Microsoft did to Skype - the Skype business will not be around much longer with all the glitches and should we say unique user interface - good luck with seeing a full screen presentation, see participants, mute/unmute and use speaker with one-tie trying. Alternatives (GoToMeeting, WebEx..) are just so much better that the only way to push this garbage is through corporate/enterprise bundle deals. I didnt want to write any review but having to deal with this pain every week because of my work leaves me with no choice. Rest in peace Skype.

Crashes regularly, the voicemails do not seem to sync: those that were deleted on O365 SfB server remain on the app, then crashes it when you select one. It does show unread voicemails in bold, which is more than the SfB 2016 windows client manages to do. The app is able to call out to PSTN numbers & receive calls if you have cloudPBX and PSTN calling on your O365 plan. Definitely needs work.

If you miss a message there is no way to ever retrieve it, its gone forever and all this app does is tease you about missing a message. Arguably one of the worst IM clients ever made and this one is done by one of the largest companies in the world. Sad.

Lync (the previous version) worked a lot better. Video and screen sharing over LTE, now neither work. This is a step backwards

With the latest update things seem to be working great. Keep up the good work Microsoft. Use this app on a daily basis.

The product owners for this app must be incompetent, careless, or both.

It is getting better, almost as stable as the Lync version. If you compare Skype for Business SfB to Skype you quickly realize this is Lync ver 6.x (I saw the version in advanced login). They spent time changing the UI to look more like Skype, and added extra bugs in the process to be more like Lync. The latest release fixes some of the bugs, but as an enterprise app SfB should be better than Skype, not worse. Eventually microsoft might have it close to true Skype. Be aware that O365 reduces feature sets like persistent chat on the PC.

Works for what I need it to, which is IMing

Must be the worst MSFT application out there. Even with background refresh, missed messages show the first couple of words and cannot be retrieved for the rest of the message. If the computer is off that message is gone for good. Just putting an intern on this job would crank out a better app.

Recent updates to app have made it useless. None of my conversations update with newest messages despite the fact I can see them clearly on my PC. Also fails sending messages at times.

Good job on most of the fixes MS, but there are still cross platform bugs to work out. I wish MS would hammer out their products before release.

Worked flawlessly until the last update. I am now unable to join *any* call from my iPhone. Would be great if I could downgrade. Or better: fix it Microsoft!

I used this application for the 6 years I was doing worldwide support for a SharePoint farm I worked on. Great tool.
